Apple TV+ has picked up an eight-part podcast adaptation exploring the lives of showmen Siegfried and Roy, with Jude Law and Andrew Garfield set to star.

Wild Things, which is from Apple Studios and being produced by Brian Grazer’s Imagine Entertainment, is based on Apple Original podcast, Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy.

John Hoffman (Only Murders in the Building) is lead writer, showrunner and executive producer alongside Grazer, Law, Garfield and Matt Shakman, the latter also attached to direct.

The 8 x 60-minute drama tells the relationship tale of the two showmen-magicians who, along with their white tigers, are tasked with turning Sin City into a family-friendly destination.

The duo pushes the concept of illusion versus reality to the extreme, personally and professionally, until tragedy reframes and opens a mystery surrounding their last fateful Las Vegas show.

Law will star as Siegfried and Garfield will star as Roy, with the series set to go into production this fall. Shakman will direct the pilot.

The series draws from the Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy podcast, which was written and narrated by filmmaker Steven Leckart for At Will Media. He exec produces alongside Will Malnati, who conceived the series, while Imagine duo Kristen Zolner and Natalie Berkus, and Tony Leondis and Kathy Ciric, are also attached.

The pod premiered in 2022 and explored the famous and controversial magicians, peaking behind the curtain to examine the pop culture icons and what really happened on the night that a tiger attack ended their reign. All eight parts are now streaming on Apple Podcasts.
