Creative director of entertainment adds talent to her responsibilities
Skyscraper Live and Secret Garden firm Plimsoll Studios has handed a new talent remit to its entertainment chief.
Andrea Jackson becomes creative director of entertainment and talent strategy at the ITV Studios-owned firm. She will be responsible for overseeing relationships with on-screen talent, working across genres to strengthen development, packaging and production of entertainment.

Jackson will work alongside head of entertainment, Karen Plumb, and will also continue to oversee development and production.
Founder and chief exec Grant Mansfield said: “Andrea’s expanded role recognises the increasing importance of on-screen talent in everything Plimsoll Studios produces.
“She’s the perfect person to build on our existing relationships, and forge new ones, because she knows how to bring together ambitious ideas and brilliant talent to create shows that are entertaining and unique.”
Jackson added: “Talent plays an ever-important role across our development slate as we package bold ideas for market and I’m proud to steer that process.”
Earlier this summer, Plimsoll restructured around five creative divisions: Natural History & Adventure, Live, Entertainment, Family & Kids and Digital.
Its output includes Skyscraper Live (Netflix), Secret Garden (BBC) and Pompeii: Out of Time (Disney+), featuring Alex Honnold, Sir David Attenborough and Tom Hiddleston, respectively.
