Broadcast is to celebrate the talented young British execs making a mark in international TV at a cocktail party at Mipcom.
The inaugural International Rising Stars event will be held on Sunday 12 October 2014 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, and will highlight ten executives under the age of 30 who are making a name for themselves in the industry.
The International Rising Stars list will include producers of dramas which are selling around the world, documentaries ordered by multiple foreign networks or formats which are finding global success. The dealmakers helping shows to travel the world will also be highlighted.
The event is also aimed at young writing talent, acquisition executives, key development staff and distribution executives.
The drinks party will be attended by representatives of British and international production companies, broadcasters and distributors.
