The latest Broadcast Sport podcast sees Channel 4 head of sport Pete Andrews, BBC Sport head of radio and digital Ben Gallop, and Sky Sports commercial director Yath Gangakumaran discuss the current landscape and future of sport broadcasting.

This was a state of the nation panel from the Broadcast Sport Leaders Forum, that took place at BFI Southbank on 1 November. Topics covered included traditional broadcasters facing increased competition from streaming platforms who could battle it out to secure the biggest, most popular sports rights, and the forthcoming joint venture between Discovery and BT Sport - that will create a huge new sports broadcaster with existing rights across a plethora of different sports, including significant top-tier Premier League and Champions League football rights.

Other highlights include discussion of the fragmentation of sport rights, how the listed events scheme could be improved, whether digital platforms are cannibalising linear audiences, and more. You can listen to this episode, and the rest of the Broadcast Sport Podcast, below.
