Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first Games shown by TNT Sports

TNT Sports has revealed its plans for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, 6-22 February, the first Games it will broadcast.
Warner Bros. Discovery’s rights had previously been shown through Eurosport, which was subsumed by TNT Sports in the UK and Ireland earlier this year. However, fans will only need to be a discovery+ subscriber, which is available from £3.99-a-month, rather than a TNT Sports subscriber, to access the live coverage.
There will be dedicated live event feeds for every sport, which discovery+ subscribers will be able to access, while TNT Sports subscribers will also receive live action and programming from TNT Sports channels, including Games time live studio shows and on-site presentation. TNT Sports 2 will have 24/7 coverage for the 19 days of competition, with TNT Sports 3 and 4 to also host Olympics coverage alongside other sport.
discovery+ will, for the first time, have indexable timeline markers on the coverage, so viewers can access highlights of the action in stream. It will also have gold medal alerts and personalisation features such as selecting up to 20 commentary languages and having the ability to follow specific sports, nations or athletes throughout the Games.
TNT Sports will host its coverage from a virtual studio in the Nations Village in Cortina d’Ampezzo, which will be the reporting hub for all the breaking news and success stories surrounding Team GB, with athletes visiting the studios.
The full lineup of presenters and commentators will be revealed in the new year, although several have been confirmed. These include Viktoria Rebensburg (Eurosport Germany and International) – German alpine skiing expert with 19 World Cup wins, Tina Maze (Eurosport Italy and International) – Slovenian alpine skiing expert with 26 World Cup wins, Gauthier de Tessières (Eurosport France and International) – French alpine skiing expert and World Championship medallist, Francesca Marsaglia (Eurosport Italy and International) – Italian alpine skier, Johan Clarey (Eurosport France and International) - French alpine skier and World Championship medallist, Martin Schmitt (Eurosport Germany and International) - German four-time ski jumping World Champion, and Tiffany Zahorski (TNT Sports UK and Eurosport International) - British-Russian ice skater and Winter Olympian.
In addition, the Looney Tunes sport explainers will return, having made their first appearance at the Paris 2024 Games. Each 90-second episode spotlights a different winter sport – including Snowboarding, Figure Skating, Speed Skating, Ice Hockey, Bobsleigh, Ski Jumping - with a signature Looney twist. Six episodes will launch for free on WB Kids and TNT Sports YouTube channels early next year.
TNT Sports 1 will build up to the Games with 90 minutes of live content from 19:30 on 29 October, the 100 days to go marker. This will include Athletes To Watch, a series of short films on the likes of Eileen Gu (CHN, snowboarding), Marcel Hirscher (NLD, alpine skiing), Stefan Kraft (AUT, ski jumping) and Emily Harrop (FRA, ski mountaineering), with more available on discovery+. It will also air Monuments, a Eurosport original docuseries which highlights the unique challenges and traditions of different winter sports and their historic venues around the world.
Warner Bros. Discovery has also produced a 45-second spot that features moments of tension and anticipation to mark the 100 days to go milestone.
Further original productions, documentaries, winter sports content and fresh athlete stories will be released closer to the start of the Games in 2026.
