3x30 series produced by sailing competitoin and Ten100

SailGP TNT Sports

TNT Sports has picked up SailGP docuseries Uncharted.

The 3x30 series features RedBull Italy SailGP Team CEO Jimmy Spithill, showcasing his journey through the Championship, as well as Emirates Great Britain SailGP Team CEO Sir Ben Ainslie, and includes a rare interview with SailGP co-founder and Oracle CTO Larry Ellison. It was produced in-house by the federation in partnership with production company Ten100. 

All three episodes will air back to back from 6:30pm on 2 July, on TNT Sports 1. 

TNT Sports is the live broadcaster of SailGP in the UK and Ireland, with the next race weekend taking place in Portsmouth, UK on 19-20 July. 

SailGP chief content officer Melissa Lawton said: “Launching Uncharted around the globe is a huge moment for SailGP that will break down the barriers to our sport and change fans’ perceptions of sailing through the personal sacrifices and drama of high-speed, on-water racing. Uncharted offers a rare glimpse into the faces behind the racing, stripping back the very human stories behind SailGP’s ascent.” 

Spithill said: “Uncharted is more than just a behind-the-scenes look at SailGP — it’s a raw, honest journey into what it really takes to build something from the ground up. I’ve spent my career chasing speed, precision and performance, but stepping into team ownership added a whole new layer of challenge and meaning. This series shows the highs, the lows and most importantly, the people behind the teams. I’m proud to be part of a sport that’s not only evolving but pushing boundaries in ways we never imagined.”
