Media localisation and access services provider BTI Studios has appointed Julia German as director of international vendor management.

German will oversee BTI’s subtitling partner relationships with external vendors and the management of the company’s roster of freelance resources for new languages worldwide.

German joins from Hit Entertainment where she served as foreign language dubbing supervisor.

BTI UK managing director Mazin Al-Jumaili said: “As our business becomes more diverse we are being asked to increase our resources to assist geographical expansion in broadcast and VOD markets.

“Julia brings a wealth of experience to the vendor management role, enabling BTI to provide clients with the localisation support they need to launch successfully in these new territories.”
