Simon Bucks leaves his role as Sky News' associate editor to take up the role with immediate effect. The post involves encouraging audience participation by persuading online viewers to collaborate further in areas such as voting, commenting, sharing views and contributing stories. Bucks was previously responsible for Sky's reconstructions of major events such as the Hutton inquiry and the Michael Jackson trial.
