IBC 2015: Canon has unveiled a 2/3-inch portable 4K zoom lens with what it claims is the world’s widest focal length.
The CJ12ex4.3B (pictured) is a 4.3mm focal length lens for shooting interviews and live broadcast.
The company said it allows users to move from an ultra-wide 4.3mm angle shot to close-ups.
The 4.3mm focal length at the wide end extends to 52mm and up to 104mm using a built-in 2x extender.
Canon has also revealed plans to develop a compact 2/3-inch 4K all-purpose-zoom lens for indoor and outdoor use.
