Technicolor has made two additions to its grading team with the appointments of John Claude and Alex Gascoigne.

Claude, who has been working as a freelance colourist since the demise of Pepper in 2011, counts Him and Her and Jamaica Inn as well as features including Mike Leigh’s Another Year and Elaine Constantine’s Northern Soul among his credits.

As well as working at Pepper, Claude was a director at Midnight Transfer.

Gascoigne joins Technicolor from Prime Focus, having also worked at Pepper and The Mews.

His credits include Bear Grylls Wild Weekends, Whitechapel, Space Dive, Little Crackers and Detectorists.

Technicolor VP creative services Tom Cotton said: “We have a fantastic creative team whose experience spans across all genres of high-end TV and film post production.

“Coupled with our consultative approach - from colour managed workflows, on-set dailies, VFX, previews to DI and to delivery - we believe to be in a truly unique position in the marketplace.”
