Shepherd's Bush facility Clear Cut Pictures has installed a tenth Final Cut Pro (FCP) online and Color grading suite in order to cope with further demand for Mac technology-based post-production and finishing.

The new suite, which was added before Christmas and will be used for long-form programme making and corporate work, incorporates Tangent CP-200 grading panels in order to allowing traditional "colourist style" grading.

Senior colourist Simon Astbury said that Color is “a useful addition to our grading capability”.

Clear Cut's FCP HD suites are all hooked up to 40 terabytes of shared storage. Recent projects completed by Clear Cut Pictures include the BBC Science produced Horizon programme Why Do We Dream?
