Clear Cut Pictures managing director Scott Holmgren has resigned from the post production company.

Holmgren, who joined the London facility less than two years ago, is leaving to work with his wife on her e-commerce business.

However, he did not rule out a return to the post production sector at some point in the future.

He said: “It’s a great company and team and I wish them well.”

Holmgren’s last day with the company will be 27 June.

Clear Cut has already begun the search for a new managing director to lead around 70 employees and take charge of its facilities in Shepherd’s Bush, Fitzrovia (pictured) and its recently-acquired Bloomsbury site.

Clear Cut chief executive Horacio Queiro said: “I wish Scott well. With our third premises [the role of managing director] is an exciting challenge and I look forward to someone joining us to help take Clear Cut to the next stage.”

Prior to joining Clear Cut, Holmgren was chief operating officer at Molinare and head of operations at Pepper Post.
