Pan-European finance and business news channel CNBC is launching a live video streaming service to mobile handsets in 17 European countries. Subscribers will be able to view the channel continuously on mobiles throughout Europe. The service will be provided by Newmediacom, part of the Phones International Group. Users can register online and pay using credit or debit cards for a month's access. Shaun Doyle, chief executive of Newmediacom Ltd, said: 'This is the first pan-European mobile video service offering live broadcast services. The service will be widely available through the leading mobile networks across Europe.'
