Component Graphics has completed design work on a 10 x 30-minute 'reality' series for the CBBC channel called The Stables. Created and produced by children's and youth specialist Prism Entertainment, the show centres around a charity-run stables in Newcastle and the stories of the kids who hang out there and look after the horses.

Component designers Steve Wilkes and Simon Pyke created a strong logo identity for the series, designing and animating horseshoe and arrow icons in Photoshop and Avid Illusion to distinctively brand both titles and content graphics. The executive producers for Prism Entertainment are Myke Crosby and Amelia Johnson. The series producer/director is Zoe Dobson. The show airs from 16 February.
