New product automates production of highlights and social media clips from archive content

Quickplay AI Studio

Quickplay has launched AI Studio, a platform to clip archive footage into highlights and social media clips.

AI Studio uses multi-modal AI to analyse video content and generate new forms of metadata for content libraries, and then can automatically identify and extract key moments based on trending topics, prompt engineering, and other web signals. It also has manual search and edit tools so operators can find, clip, and verticalise content with full control of the output.

It is compatible with major AI tools, including Gemini and Amazon Bedrock, and integrates with the likes of Twelve Labs. Users can also publish directly to owned & operated platforms as well as TikTok, YouTube, and Meta, with content and metadata designed appropriately for each.

It also has an open API, so can be plugged into broadcasters’ existing platforms.

Juan Martin, co-founder and CTO of Quickplay, said: “Quickplay AI Studio is not just AI hype; it’s a working, in-market system that delivers immediate ROI and helps our customers solve real business challenges by adding a layer of intelligence to their content, enabling better engagement and monetisation.”
