Cooke Optics is recruiting more staff and investing in new machinery for its Leicester factory in response to demand for its front anamorphic and prime lenses.
A newly installed edging machine and an additional coating plant will increase capacity, while four more factory staff will be in place by July.
Cooke Optics owner and chairman Les Zellan said: “As we continue to grow our product line, with our recent announcement of a front anamorphic zoom lens and another exciting development coming very soon, the investment in new equipment and staff will help us to increase production while maintaining our high standards.”
