PEC managing director Dan Wheeler has quit the company to join equipment distributor Holdan as its brand manager.

In the newly created role, Wheeler (pictured) will be responsible for Panasonic Broadcast and SLR Magic, among other manufacturers.

Holdan head of brands David Morris said: “Dan has a huge amount of down-to-earth commercial, product and customer experience, which will prove a great asset to the company.”

Wheeler will be replaced at PEC by sales director Alan Alger, who will take up the role of interim managing director until a long-term successor is found.

The DIA Group, which includes PEC and Alias Hire, has also appointed Tracy Fitzpatrick to the role of group customer relationship manager.

Fitzpatrick has worked in channel management roles for Avid and Softimage.

In her new role she will look after customer relationships and sales development for PEC and sister company Alias Hire.
