Two Tall Men has added a new 5.1 surround-sound dubbing suite to its Fitzrovia finishing house and is about to start work on a Cutting Edge doc about pubs in Britain.

The Pro Tools 8 audio suite features Genelec monitoring, Esmono isolation booth and Euphonix control.

It opened just before Christmas 2008 and is being driven by dubbing mixer Jerome O'Donohoe. The equipment was supplied by reseller Jigsaw.

“We identified a need last year for 5.1 audio for our clients, most of whom are production companies with their own in-house FCP offline,” explained post co-ordinator Jade Marriott. 'It enables us to provide them with a full finishing service and will hopefully bring more work in the future.”

Two Tall Men are about to start work on a Cutting Edge documentary being made by Well Park Productions.

Red Lion will examine the role that pubs play in British society. It is being shot on a Red camera.

Two Tall Men will convert the footage, provide media management, offline, online, grading and dubbing facilities for a May delivery to Channel 4.

Two Tall Men was set up two years ago by offline editor Sean Davison.

The facility has four edit suites - including two that are switchable between Media Composer and FCP - linked up to a 14 terabyte Fibershare Raid with Color grading.
