Easel TV has teamed up with video monetisation and discovery firm Ooyala, payment solutions company PayWizard and digital media facility Loft London to launch a connected-TV framework app.

The app provides a “cost-effective” means for content owners to create direct-to-consumer apps for connected devices.

Easel TV chief marketing officer Rob Walk said: “The lean-back nature of our connected-TV app framework provides the viewer with a TV channel-like experience. Rather than having to hunt for content, our app learns what the viewer likes and suggests relevant content.”
