Elements has added 25/100 GbE connectivity to its media server and storage products, and is showing the new capability at the Media Production Show (MPS).

The update is specifically designed to help broadcasters and post-production with high-end grading, compositing and editing in 4K RAW.

The company says that 25/100 GbE is also easier to deploy than 10GbE and provides a 40 per cent lower cost in bandwidth.

“We like to be one step ahead, always with the goal to enable our customers to benefit from the latest technologies.” said André Kamps, chief executive of Elements. “The implementation of 25/100 GbE allows us to further extend the use of Ethernet based networks for high-end collaborative workflows.”

Also at the show (stand 420), Elements will display updates for Media Library, its media asset management, sharing and editing tool, including deeper integration with Adobe Premiere Pro.

The Media Production show takes place 13-14 June at London’s Olympia
