Entries are now open for the RTS Young Technologist Award 2013.

The award is open to early-career engineers in the broadcast or related industries.

Judges will seek applicants who can demonstrate how the award would enhance their understanding of technology’s role in television and its allied fields, and how they will share their understanding.

The winner will receive a trip to the IBC trade show in Amsterdam in September.

The deadline for entries is 1 July.

Last year’s winner was Matthew Tushingham (pictured).
