The Farm’s new Livonia Street-based facility Soho Uncle has opened for business. It also comprises Rent, the hire, shoots and duplication arm it inherited from Broadcast Metro (which was originally based on the site).

The building offers 26 editing suites, all available to work on or offline, of which five are Final Cut Pro and 21 are Avid Adrenaline.

The Farm’s joint managing director Nicky Sargent said that offline can command significant revenues where production companies ask for named editors. Shows due to be worked on include BBC1’s Crimewatch.
