Designed around a white infinity studio, live footage of the contestants was shot on Super 16mm with a 360-degree track by director Mark Soldinger. The footage was then graded and composited by Firecracker creative director Jeremy Groman using a combination of Final Cut Pro 4, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop.

3D animator Simon Browne created 3D sequences using Maya, featuring 'fly-throughs' around the human body to show what the contestants are experiencing. Superhuman airs on C4 on Saturday 13 March.
