Five has axed its joint venture with interactive media group Yoomedia after just four months.
Five has axed its joint venture with interactive media group Yoomedia after just four months.

In August Five announced that its first multichannel venture would be an extended version of its daily quiz show, Brainteasersto be aired on Yooplay TV and cross-promoted on the terrestrial channel.

But Five has decided not to extend it initial 13 week contract, however Brainteasers, made by Endemol, will continue to air in its shorter format on Five.

The news will come as a blow to Yoomedia which last month forecast losses for 2005 at around£1.6m.
