Forbidden Technologies has released a new version of its cloud-based editing platform Forscene including an overhauled user interface.

Forbidden chief executive Stephen Streater described 2014 as “the year we have transformed from an engineering solution to a creative solution”.

Other new features include the ability to publish with burnt-in timecode or other metadata and expanded multicam logging to support up to 18 cameras simultaneously, as well as support for editing MXF files during ingest.
