Former ATG Broadcast managing director Guy Elliott has set-up a new sales outsourcing company that aims to help UK and international manufacturers build sales channels in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

EMEA Gateway will specialise in the provision of sales channels - both direct and indirect - and marketing expertise to technology developers.

Elliott spent 18 months managing the system integration business for ATG Broadcast, the UK arm of the Dan Technologies Group.

He was previously European director of sales for Harris Broadcast Communications for eight years.

Elliott is hoping that his established network will provide vendors with instant ‘feet-on-the-street’ in new territories, allowing them to capture market share in areas where they did not previously have a local presence or market experience. 

Elliott said: “The key to a company outsourcing its sales operations to a business like ours is that we bring an understanding of the technical challenges being reflected in today’s industry while also having a strong and established knowledge of the region and contacts that would typically take months or years to develop.”
