Patrick Spence, executive producer of Sky Atlantic drama Fortitude is the latest speaker to join the line-up of the Creative Summit 2015, part of Broadcast’s Creative Week.

The Creative Summit will examine how creativity has the power to build prolific brands and world class businesses.

At the event, industry visionaries will discuss translating big ideas into legendary content, cultures and businesses.

Renowned innovators including Jonathan Sehring, producer of the multi award-winning film Boyhood, Sir Peter Bazalgette, chairman of the Arts Council England and Sir John Hegarty, founder and creative director of BBH will discuss topics including how creativity is key to building great brands and businesses, investment in London’s Soho and why risk-taking is necessary to create truly innovative content.

Joining them at the summit are executive producer of The X Factor, Mark Sidaway and Strictly Come Dancing director Nikki Parsons both of whom join panel sessions which will explore the demands of facilitating creative concepts from the point of view of a producer and director.

The Creative Summit will also take a closer look at creative funding opportunities currently available in the UK and how to access them.

A special Creative Funding panel will include Lorraine Heggessey from Channel 4 Growth Fund; Dinah Caine, chief executive of Creative Skillset; Jim Farmery director of business investment at Creative England and Deborath Sathe, head of talent & development production at Film London.

The Creative Summit 2015 takes place on 2 June at Bafta, 195 Piccadilly, London
