Fox International Channels (FIC) UK has purchased three licences for Project Parking from content workflows and media integration software firm Marquis Broadcast.

Project Parking, which is designed to assist editors and facilities to manage Avid edit storage more effectively, will be used to archive promos and long-form content for National Geographic.

“Project Parking will allow us to archive complete Avid projects rather than having to rebuild them from different sources,” said FIC UK director of operations Simon Brett.

“In the future, if another region would like to reuse an edit we have created, it will not be a problem.”
