Ftrack has launched an updated version of its project management platform for the VFX and animation sectors.

Version three of the cloud-based platform includes an option to purchase a single licence for $20 (£13) a month. It was formerly priced at $39 per month for a three-user package.

The user interface has been refreshed and an updated review option provides clients with access to an ongoing project.

Users can send a secure URL to clients and collaborators who can then leave their comments and feedback on a project.

Ftrack Connect provides integration with programs from other manufacturers for the importing of files from software such as Premiere and Photoshop using drag and drop functionality.

A time tracking function also helps users to measure the time spent on tasks or in meetings discussing projects.
