GoPro has released its “smallest and lightest” camera yet. The Hero4 Session is 50% smaller and 40% lighter than its Hero4 cameras.

It captures 1080p60, 720p100 and 1440p30 video along with eight-megapixel photos in single, burst and time-lapse modes. It is waterproof to 10 metres without additional housing and is compatible with existing GoPro mounts. It will retail for £329 from next week. “We challenged ourselves to produce the smallest, lightest, most convenient GoPro possible,” said GoPro founder and chief executive Nicholas Woodman.
