NAB 2016: Grass Valley has unveiled an entry level HD system camera for live studios, regional broadcasters, SNG vans and small outside broadcast units.
The Focus 75 Live is described by Grass Valley as “a highly affordable” 720p/1080i switchable camera.
The camera is equipped with three digital Xensium-FT CMOS imagers with global shutter and has a standard B4 2/3-inch lens mount.
“Not every customer needs a full-featured top-of-the-line camera to meet their production needs, but they do want the legendary quality and performance for which Grass Valley is known,” said Grass Valley senior vice president of strategic marketing Mike Cronk.

Focus 75 Live captures images in progressive 1920x1080 HD resolution and down converts to either 1080i50/59.94 or 720p50/59.94.
The Focus 75 Live camera will be on display at Grass Valley’s booth at NAB.
