The Guild of Television Cameramen (GTC) has announced the shortlist of potential recipients for a new award set up to encourage education and training of camerawork skills within educational establishments.

The Bill Vinten GTC University Award, which is the result of collaboration between the GTC and guild supporter Bill Vinten, will provide work experience with paid expenses equivalent to £2,500.

The nominees are Tomaso Aramini (Northern Film School), Adam Broder (Cambridge School of Art), Ed Gammie (University of York), Oliver HadlowMartin (University of York), Jack Harrison (Bournemouth University) and Jack Reynolds (Kingston University).
