Brief Post-production on an 8 x 45-minute series that follows young members of the travelling community as they prepare for one of the biggest days of their lives.
How it was done The series comprises fast-paced, unpredictable actuality that needed a consistent look throughout. Colourist Damion Katwaroo used Baselight’s key-framing toolset to achieve this in the grade.
As the show was recorded in noisy locations, dubbing mixer Sophie-Alice Davies paid special attention to the sync, using the RX5 audio repair software from Izotope and the Cedar audio restoration system to clean it up while applying Altiverb’s reverb to the music. In addition, extensive blurring was required in the online to obscure identities and commercial brands. David Sexton completed the work using Avid Symphony.
