High Performance Media Technology this week began selling Buzz-USB (pictured), which is billed as the world’s first modular, multi-channel USB recorder.
The 1RU device, which has been designed with input from outside broadcast firms Visions, Telegenic and CTV, is primarily aimed at sports productions that might previously have required DVD copies of events.
It has a capacity for up to five USB recorders and can record up to five separate signals simultaneously.
