Humax and Freesat have released a new Freetime set-top box recorder.

The recorder, HDR-1100S has built-in wi-fi to take advantage of Freesat’s Freetime on demand and catch-up players, as well as other OTT and web-enabled services.

The new recorder measures 280x48x200 and comes in 500GB, 1TB and 2TB sizes.

The recorder also includes one Ethernet 100 BaseT input and two USB 2.0 inputs.

“With the ever-increasing consumer demand for the connected home, there was an absolute necessity to incorporate Wi-Fi within the new Humax Freesat Freetime family,” said Humax commercial director Graham North.
