NAB 2011: Guilford-based Imagineer Systems will showcase new versions of its planar tracking, roto and removal tools for visual effects and stereo conversion projects.

Mocha Pro features planar tracker and rotoscoping tools from its Mocha software and adds compositing tools for match moving, auto image and wire removal, clean plate generation, lens distortion correction and stabilisation.

Imagineer Systems CEO JP Smith said: “2011 is quickly emerging as the year of stereo conversion, with mocha Pro increasingly being integrated as a central, driving tool set of these pipelines at some of the biggest, best known conversion houses in the industry including Technicolor, Digital Domain and ICO VFX.

Smith said that Imagineer Systems had worked closely with The Foundry to ensure “seamless integration” between mocha Pro, mocha and Nuke.

NAB will also see demonstrations of mocha AE, which features 3D layer and camera export support for After Effects users.
