Digital distributor Independent Media Distribution (IMD) has acquired technology company Optimad Media Systems for£3m.
Digital distributor Independent Media Distribution (IMD) has acquired technology company Optimad Media Systems for £3m. IMD chief executive Simon Cox said the acquisition will create 'the UK's definitive media logistics business' which integrates delivery of commercials to broadcasters with advertisers' campaign data. Optimad co-founder Julian Levy and finance controller Mark Eden have moved into IMD's nearby London W1 offices and the rest of the Optimad team will follow within a few weeks.
