Big Pic Media (stand 510) will display tools for ingest, QC, transcoding, encoding and delivery at the Media Production Show (MPS).

OMG’s Cubix media asset management, automation and orchestration platform will be among the systems on show.

Cubix consists of 27 modules that can be combined to match a wide range of deployments and applications. Features making their MPS debut include Biometrics, Cognitive Services and Timelines, Cubix Tracker & Reporting and Cubix Taskflow Designer.

Big Pic Media will also demonstrate mastering workflows from Marquise Technologies including MIST (Mastering, Ingest, Stream, Transcode).

“MIST is ideal for IMF mastering for Netflix and major studios and now has full support for HDR workflows including Dolby Vision and HDR 10+,” said managing director Adam Welsh Adam Welsh.

MIST can also be used for DCP, DPP and various other delivery requirements.

Also from Marquise Technologies Big Pic Media will showcase the ICE QC reference player for IMF and DCP QC.

In addition to an image QC process, the latest Emotion Systems’ Engine will be on show. This can be used to check for loudness compliance, normalising files for playout to Dolby encoding and automated audio processing.
