The advancements will provide real-time graphical dramatisation of viewer responses and allow viewers to ‘agree' or ‘disagree' with panel show discussions and see results displayed live on screen.
Simon Ingram, co-founder and chief executive of Ionoco said: “These applications will create a wealth of new and exciting ways of generating real time audience interaction. It will be possible for viewers to have an immediate impact on the live programme that they are watching. This will drive interactivity, higher programme values and help to stimulate revenue generation.”
Both new advances will offer category breakdowns by region, sex, age, starsign, etc and will enable programme-makers to target those specific demographics to stimulate additional voting and offer insight into the nation's opinions.
Ionoco's products, designed to enhance and drive gameshows and call TV programmes, will be on show at Broadcast Video Expo (February 17-19, Earl's Court 2) in the Producers Theatre.
