Reseller Root6 has appointed Mark Jackson as its new UK sales director.

Jackson, who will also serve on the Root6 board, joins from Avid Technology where he was key account manager for London-based post-production.

Prior to his five-year stint at Avid, Jackson served in senior positions at Tyrell and Metro.

“Mark is a highly respected and knowledgeable member of our industry,” said John Harris of root6.

As well as its reseller services, Root6 offers technical support, systems integration and product development.
