JCA has spent £450,000 on new kit to address the demand for HD services.
The content services firm took delivery of three HDCam SR decks at the end of last month, capping a round of investment that has also seen CandIT Media’s Warp installed to provide a shared SAN for the company.
JCA managing director Simon Kay (pictured) said the majority of content entering the firm’s pipeline is now HD. “Coupled with broadcasters and distributors needing faster turnaround on content as well as JCA’s organic growth, it was logical to invest further in this service area.
“By investing in Warp and custom-built HDCam SRs, we can continue to provide hands-on and efficient HD services to our growing client portfolio.”
