Media management firm JCA has won the contract to remaster film originated episodes of Poirot as ITV ups its HD content.

Anthony Badger, JCA’s restoration supervisor, said that because it was shot on film there is sufficient resolution.

“However, the film negatives are problematic as they are A+B roll cuts with no VFX, titles or subs,” he said.
