True Lens Services has developed a new matte box specifically for use within the rental department at facilities company Procam Television.
The lightweight ‘Kite’ box can be fitted to a wide range of cameras and lenses including the Sony EX3.
It will hold one static and one fully rotational filter up to 5.65” x 5.65” in size.
The Kite is built at True Lens Services in Leicestershire using aircraft grade aluminium, industrial machinable plastic and stainless steel fasteners.
A statement from the company read: “It was imperative for Procam to be assured of a fast, reliable after-sales service with spare or replacement components being readily available.
“The distinctive colouring of anodised parts make the Kite easily identifiable as coming from the Procam stable and with the sound design and construction of the matte box offering long term reliability and service, Procam will be able to hire out the Kite with complete confidence.”
Procam Television provides equipment and crew hire for television production.
