Reseller Tyrell CCT has appointed Adam Lewiston as the technical support and pre-sales manager at its UK subsidiary.
Based in Tyrell CCT UK’s Soho office, Lewiston will have responsibility for pre-sales consultancy, system design and technical support including the installation, repair, maintenance and upgrade of customer systems.
Lewiston joins from Altered Images (AI), where he was a senior support engineer. He is the third former AI staffer to join Tyrell UK following the appointments of Nick Soper and Mark Lynn.
Lewiston has previously worked for Crow TV in the role of facility and technical manager and for production company ORTV as its facility manager. He also worked with the original Tyrell Corporation.
Lewiston said: “My previous work in post production facilities has given me a real insight into customer priorities and requirements, and I believe that Tyrell CCT will deliver a proactive and dynamic approach to many of the areas that are not currently catered for by existing suppliers.”
Tyrell CCT provides consultancy, system design and integration, technical support and maintenance as well as nonlinear editing software and systems and storage technology from the likes of Avid, Apple, AJA, Blackmagic Design, Adobe and Isilon.
