Reseller Tyrell CCT has secured a UK and Ireland distribution deal with Portuguese MXF technology developer MOG Technologies.
Under the terms of the agreement Tyrell will have responsibility for selling and supporting both the mxfSPEEDRAIL S1000, a multi-resolution SDI capture product, and the F1000 which ingests tapeless MXF media from any location.
The S1000 recorder supports a variety of formats, generating multiple resolutions simultaneously and directly into an Avit Unity ISIS, Avid MediaNetwork and other shared storage systems.
“MOG is recognised as one the founding organisations of the MXF standard and the company continues to remain actively involved in the development of this file based standard,” said Tyrell CCT managing director Bryan Malone.
MOG products target process automation and workflow streamlining.
The company is part of the Infinity Open Alliance Partner Program, Panasonic P2 Alliance partners and Sony XDCAM Interoperability program.
