Red Bee Media has created a promotional campaign for the second series of BBC drama Life on Mars.

TV and radio spots, online viral trailers and even a spoof 1973 training manual by DCI Gene Hunt (Philip Glenister) will echo the 1970s theme and feature the BBC's 1970s 'globe' branding. Creative director Ruth Shabi emphasised the contrast between policing in the 1970s and today, which she describes as creating 'something really edgy in today's world of political correctness'. The campaign launched this week. Life on Marsreturns to BBC1 on Tuesday 13 February at 9pm.
