Two of the directors at LipSync have completed a management buyout of the company.

Peter Hampden, managing director, and Norman Merry, finance director, will take full shareholdings from the company’s founder, Jon Diamond.

Diamond said he is leaving LipSync to pursue his interests in production with his new firm Box Clever TV.

“It’s time I returned to my roots in the creative arena,” he said. “I am leaving with a lot of fond memories and a real sense of achievement, having built - together with my fellow directors - a robust and innovative company with extremely talented staff.”

Diamond will take on the role of non-executive chairman in an advisory capacity for The LipSync Group.

LipSync’s recent credits include Made in Dagenham (pictured), Nowhere Boy and The Arbor.
