Visual Data Media Services has appointed Polly Magner as head of client services.

After serving 10 years as an account director at post-production facility Ascent Media, Magner joined Technicolor Media Services in 2005 as client services director.

Visual Data managing director Symon Roue said: “It’s an exciting time to be at Visual Data and we’re incredibly proud to have Polly join the team.

“She brings a level of expertise and experience that is hard to find in one package. We’re working on international expansion plans and Polly’s skills in global strategic account management and client services reflect those ambitions.

“Her market knowledge and deft handling of theatrical, home-entertainment and distribution accounts is a really powerful combination.”

Magner’s arrival at Visual Data (formerly known as Re:fine in the UK) coincides with that of Simon Constable, who joins the Los Angeles-headquartered company in the newly created role of vice-president of strategic accounts.

Constable, who will be based in the US, was vice-president of worldwide operations at Technicolor. He also served as managing director of Technicolor’s UK operation.
