Object Matrix will launch its new range of MatrixStore nodes at next month’s IBC trade show.

The Cardiff-based company will showcase its 2 terabyte Mini node for on-set data wrangling. It will also display a 48 terabyte node that uses 3 terabyte drives.

Object Matrix will demonstrate its nearline and archive solution MatrixStore (pictured), a turnkey clustered storage appliance that acts as a pre-production or nearline archive for Avid, Adobe and Final Cut workflows.

“One of the real benefits of MatrixStore is that the new nodes can be added to an existing MatrixStore cluster,” said Nick Pearce, Object Matrix co-founder.

The company will also, for the first time, demonstrate InterConnect, its new archive plugin for Avid Interplay at the Amsterdam trade show.
