Maxon has launched an updated version of its Cinema 4D software which includes a motion tracker for integrating 3D content within live footage.

Release 16 of the 3D software includes a modeling ‘PolyPen’ tool, which will allow users to paint polygons as they would with a pen.

The motion tracker option allows for integration of 3D elements into real-world footage, while an interaction tag provides control over 3D objects and works with a ‘tweak’ mode to provide information on object movement and highlighting. 

The software will ship in September.
